Qatar 2022 World Cup Broadcast Schedule in Vietnam

Overview

The upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup is a special event that is expected by millions of fans around the world. This is the 22nd FIFA tournament organized.

The season starts on November 21. The most anticipated match – the final of the biggest football festival on the planet will be held on December 18 of this year. In addition, the tournament finals will only last 28 days instead of 32 days as before. 

World Cup 2022 will be held in winter instead of summer-like previous years. Because of the harsh weather environment in West Asia, FIFA has come up with a plan to change the match schedule. This is to ensure the player’s health and the best performance for the teams.

Schedule and broadcast

The group stage of the World Cup 2022 will be played from November 21, with the opening matches taking place from 4 p.m. on Viet TV HD (32), including the opening match of host Qatar against Ecuador, and lasting until December 2. finished the group stage, with 4 matches a day. The round of 1/8 will take place right after that from December 3 to 6.

After that, the teams will have a few days off before the quarter-finals on December 9 and 10. The semi-finals will be played on December 13 and 14, the third-place match will take place on December 17 and the final will take place on December 18.

In the group stage, with 4 matches a day, all of which take place in the time frame of 4 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, and 1 am the next day, excluding the final matches of the group, the stage will be played at the same time with 2 matches at 9 pm and 1 am the next day.

In the knockout round, since the 1/8 round, all matches will be played in the time frame at 9 pm and 1 am the next morning with 2 matches per day. The semi-finals will take place consecutively and evenly in the 1 am time frame on Vinh Long TV HD (32).

Specifically, in Group A including Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, and the Netherlands, the first round will be played on November 21, the second round on November 25, and the third round on November 29. 

Group B: England, Iran, USA, Wales/Scotland vs Ukraine, round 1 played on November 21, round 2 on November 25, round 3 on November 29; 

Group C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland, the first round will be played on November 22, the second round on November 26, and the third round on November 30. 

Group D: France, Peru/Australia vs UAE, Denmark, Tunisia, round 1 on November 22, round 2 on November 26, round 3 on November 30.

Group E with Spain, Costa Rica/New Zealand, Germany, and Japan, the first round will be played on November 23, the second round on November 27, and the third round on November 1.

Group F with Belgium, Canada, Morocco, and Croatia will play the first round on November 23, the second round on November 27, and the third round on November 12. 

Group G with Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon will play the first round on November 24, the second round on November 28, and the third round on December 2. 

Group H with Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea plays the first round on November 24, the second round on November 28, and the third round on December 2.
